Welcome....
to the Arkansas Assemblies of God Christian Education Department's official website. There are many ministries that are a part of this department and it is our desire to assist you to be successful in each and every one. Those departments include Sunday School, BGMC, Seniors, Singles, Young Adults, Marriage Enrichment, Kid's Camps, JBQ and Special Touch.
Sunday School has gone through a metamorphous of changes including different meeting times and even name change. The traditional time for most Sunday School forums is on Sunday mornings before the actual church service. Some choose to have their Sunday School time on Sunday nights or even different nights during the week. Either way, Sunday School is time set aside to spend in the actual study and discussion of God's Word.
As you visit each link you will find the latest information about each area. Feel Free to email us your comments, questions and other ideas that will enable us to serve you more effectively.
I Believe in Jesus Christ
Too Busy to Connect?
Read John 2:1–11
Are you among the growing number of people in today’s busy world who feel pressured and burdened by life’s many demands? Do you miss out on opportunities to really connect with people in everyday life? Do you miss family and community celebrations because there is always something more important to do?
Jesus is the world’s most important person. His mission was to proclaim His Father’s kingdom on earth, yet He took time out to attend a wedding with His family and friends (John 2:1,2). Jesus did not consider himself too important or too busy to be involved in people’s lives. He took time to respond to the couple’s heartfelt needs during their wedding celebration. When the wine ran out, He changed the water into the choicest of wines and spared the newlyweds from untold embarrassment in front of their friends.
Jesus is never too busy to listen to us and respond to our needs. We need to get over our busyness and sense of self-importance and spend time with Jesus. Ask Him for help to live your best for Him today.
Challenge for Today: Make time today to connect more deeply with Jesus and those you love.
Devotional brought to you by God's Word For Today.
